  1. What a real delight, so glad there was a follow up, this was just the perfect chapter.
  2. And another to add to my list.
  3. I am so glad that Vince and Graham are getting along better all the time. I think living together, or at least in close proximity has helped them more than either ever thought possible. And I think Graham should find a place in their father's library for all of his books, maybe it would get rid of the bad vibrations in the room. LOL Sounds like a way to maybe get rid of some of the estate in a way that it would help other's that deserve a break. I do hate that Vince will have to step down as trustee, but it only makes sense. He can still volunteer his time and that might work better anyway if he is going to get a fellow and take on more cases that interest him. Vince's plan might really help out Matt and so some good as well. Graham might find himself doing better financially if some of this comes through. There is actually a bit of money to be made in cards if done right and marketed well. And you never know, sometimes books like they are talking about with the wildlife and natural pictures and prose sell very well. Can't wait to see what happens next.
  4. Ugh, not sure how I feel about this chapter; it made me like Matthew a little bit and not sure that I want that. LOL I am glad that Tom opened up to Dante, and it was more than candid and really did explain quite a bit. I don't want Frank hurt, neither by Dante, nor by having to have a new position put on him, one that I truly don't think he is suited for. Matthew would actually probably be good at the position, and they obviously need the money. Dante will do whatever it takes to protect and support Mistress Alice in whatever way he can. Such a wonderful story...
  5. Is this human a possible friend, or is this just a trap? Our little band needs to find help and find a way to fight back.
  6. This was such a light easy breezy chapter... I hope that Tony doesn't bite off more than he can chew with trying to cook. A few basic dishes with a surprise or two will be more than welcome. Can't wait to see what happens next.
  7. A little sadder and more disappointed in this group each chapter.
  8. I totally agree, maybe not everyone, but most.
  9. Always a nice look at this genre, nice to see what is out there.
  10. This group needs to find others and figure out a way to start to fight back. The evil humans must be stopped now.

    Consequences

Starting to think the faster Jeff gets to military school, the better off everyone will be. Leon maybe an idiot, but he isn't that stupid. And while he isn't happy about the situation with Michael and Stephen, he still might come around on that.
  12. Interesting and quite true.
  13. If Matthew is going to be Master here, he needs to step up and stop acting like a petulant child. Charles is a total ass and needs to be put down.
  14. Brian handled all of that just right. I truly do not think that Deidre had any idea of all of the serious things that Jasper was into; and I firmly believe that she had no idea about how Jasper truly felt about Toby. Glad that Deidre had the since to not get any more involved with Jasper than she was, he did a runner but she had the common sense to stay well away. She does have a good life, and maybe the yoga instructor will be the right man for her. I do worry some that Jasper might come back and try and get at Toby, he may well be aware that Brian and Gordon had something to do with the police getting so involved. Glad that Toby and Deidre had a good visit. Wonderful chapter, can't wait to see what is coming next.

    Chapter 5

So, we got to find out a little about each of the others and how they came to be here. All have a story that is a little sad, a little hopeful, a little morose; but all of them have a reason for being there and to some extent being who each of them are now. And Emerson found a way to do what? Turn him, stop him from turning, remove the venom?

    A Good Deed

Finn comes from money, not the level that Will, Marie, and Sarah do, but his family is well off. I can't see him doing something like that, not after the way he truly opened up to Will. This conspiracy either has nothing to do with Travis, and is aimed at the Crampton/Schulter families, or more likely somehow tied to Travis's so called father's death and how the dissolution of the company took place. At this point, I think it could be either, just not enough information on the real players yet.
  17. You know, there is really nothing like having someone read a really good book to you that means something to both the reader and listener. Just loved this chapter, everything about it.
  18. Yikes, only knew four of the words of the week this week. No, I never even attempt anything other than basic decorating. Anything else requires someone that I will pay in cash or trade. LOL

    Chapter 45

Everything has been going rather smoothly for Marc and Adam, sort of surprised that there has been no recent issues. So, four more children, and while two sets of twins, the last four will be all boys. Will unbalance the family somewhat, but I doubt anyone will care. Have to wonder why though. Love that they are teaching the kids from day one, what it is like being in their position, after all, one day, part of them will be in charge.

    27: Finley

What a delicious palate of savory morsels to devour and digest. Finley needs to be fully honest with Emmett. Emmett needs to be fully honest with himself. Mo needs to be slapped with a two by four. And I can't wait for Emmet to meet some of Finley's family.

    A Good Deed

OMFG, I cannot believe that with so many still unanswered questions, that Travis had no security with him. And this Jack Roenig is someone that clearly would have had an ax to grind with Travis. Since we know almost nothing about him, except he is the boy toy of one of the soaps leads, hard to see him as the mastermind, but he clearly could be helping those going after Travis. WHY???? Claire is starting to come around but doesn't seem that Isidore is at all. I know I am in the minority, but I do think Will but especially Brad had as much to blame for what happened as Jeremy. Jeremy should not have said what he did; but it was said in the heat of the moment when to some extent, his whole life was turning into a lie. That said, Isidore is just wrong, she has gotten this idea that this is a hill that she is willing to die on, and I truly think she may, figurately not literally. Marie should have known better than to make that suggestion to Will, as close as they are, she had to know how he would react. I don't care how good looking he is, Chip is already proving to be more trouble than he is worth.
  22. The Brilliant Mind of the typical American Teen. LOL
  23. Maybe the innate magic of the planet itself is bringing a unique team together and the right place and time to strike back against the humans.
  24. Etienne, Giovanni, and Alessandro must find a way to balance their feelings for each other with that they each need individually, and that is rarely an easy task. Etienne wants and perhaps even needs a steady older more dominate hand to guide him; some of this may well be a feeling sharpened by his past. Giovanni wants the softer feel of affection; he longs for the sweetness of love. Alessandro understands the world in a way that neither of the other truly does at this moment, but he too has unnamed desires. Enzo is attracted to Etienne in an almost primal way; but even that attraction doesn't seem to make him jealous, he is more of a man sure of himself.
  25. What an eclectic gathering. And actually, it went smoother than I ever imagined it would. Everyone got on rather well and the conversation and food flowed while no one appeared bored or overwhelmed. Even the fact that the age difference was significant between some of the groups, there were enough intermingling that it all felt rather smooth and well done. The right throw can rather do wonders. Rowena was a delight again, and as perceptive as I would have anticipated her to be. And I think she will rather be a ally when all is said and done. Much like @drsawzall, I kept waiting for Venetia to make a drive by, needing to borrow a cup of sugar perhaps?
