  1. I think it was when my country was put in the Soviet sphere of influence. Though I can't belittle the role of the Czechoslovak communists too. And the Invasion of the Warsaw Pact troops in 1968 was important in shaping my world of today as well. So yeah, I blame the communists. No matter what they did, it was no good and it will probably still influence me for a long time.
  2. Paya is busy, busy, busy It's really annoying. And even if this Thursday one thing ends, next week another one begins. No time to relax! Well it's difficult to guess anything after one chapter. Someone has already mentioned things that would remind people of 1960s, I thought that's the mechanism how it's going to work... Or is it other way? We've had so many hidden children already that it's not original anymore! And if the chapter 4 from CAP really was a clue, then I haven't found anything - we already know how Maman rides horses with Andre "flushed from their ride" LOL! So maybe Tonto knew? (André didn't want to go there...) Maybe she rode him too? Were they two together, Tonto and Maman? But oh my... how I missed Tonto's harsh comments! Negro lover! And the remark about JP wanting a Ford car (like a true Hendrickson ) was just too much! a nice touch And Frank Hayes! and wasn't that the same Vivian Jeff was "dating"? But I'm not sure about the name... Anyway! Reading chapter 4 again was a really good idea. I have another question though... what city went as a model for Claremont? I checked Google maps and Claremont, Ohio is some crossroads in the woods... so I'm just curious... edit: ummm I think I overdid the smileys a little bit. Don't mind them! I promise, I'll try to work on that obsession...

    My Sinking Ship.....

Every Mum has to get used to it. Children are meant to go, leave the nest. Enjoy your search for schools! I hope you'll get to that one you want the most! And if anything goes wrong... You know you can PM or IM me...
  4. Happy Birthday M
  5. It's Joey's birthday!
  6. I love the dinners at Escorial. I'm not sure I can identify my favourite comic scene that easily but the dinners at Escorial with all its bantering around, that's just how a family should feel.
  7. Ricky! Enjoy your day! Happy Birthday!
  8. I decided to nominate Wade as the Best Hero in 2009 and I thought I'd ask somebody here to back me up with their nominations so that Wade made it into the final five. Even if the whole Bloodlines are about Matt, for me it was surprisingly Wade who ended up as the best character. Come on! "Cramer doesn't snore!" line should be engraved in gold letters!
  9. Happy Birthday David! I hope you'll enjoy your day!
  10. I can't believe my eyes! Such an easygoing chapter after all that drama!
  11. Don't name it "Un-whatever"! Well this is more like a dumb "infomercial" but when I saw it, it reminded me of this thread. So... at least for you to

    Story Ideas

That reminds me Rule 34! Both ideas sound interesting, though the disabled prick is more appealing.
  13. How come nobody mentioned Queer As Folk? 1999-2000 in the UK, 2000-2005 in the US. Is that soap enough? I think it stirred some reactions when first published, didn't it?
