    Chapter 17

Still hooked and eating up every word of it.
  2. My continued prayers for you and your family that the prognosis and treatment plan pan out! Good luck!

    Chapter 95

Interesting that Will was able to get Jeff to reveal his feelings about his biological father as well as his interest in getting an education. Looks like JP will see that comes to be.
  4. You'll find it's less annoying as you get older. Looking young for your age is a mixed blessing, but certainly one that is better as you get older.

    Chapter 16

    Yikes!
  6. Happy Birthday! B1ue!

    Chapter 94

The dinner set-up worked nicely to bring the family up to speed on JJ. Mark did a great job of writing it. Wade did get that JJ had been abused and he identified it with his own abuse and thus his feelings toward JJ became a lot more understanding. Tiffany came through big-time and Will was Will. The fight scene at the end with the subsequent sex scene between Wade and Matt was hot, hot, hot like only Arbour can do and not have it come across as just smut. Two thumbs up for another great chapter.
  8. Another precipice? I too certainly hope that Zack has no lasting injury. Concussions are not minor.
  9. Kookie has some interesting observations and questions. His suspicions about Fox sound credible. Jim's idea of puting the 64 gun ship of the line into Granger's flotilla may be a bit farfetched but with Granger who knows??????

    Odyssey

That George has set an ambitious agenda is obvious. That he is prepared for the worst is prudent but speaks to the dangers of his plan. Another great chapter about my favorite seaman! Thanks!

  12. I found the following article amazing and somewhat hilarious. http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/02/20/17029237-new-zealand-cops-find-hatchback-full-of-shackled-sheep?lite New Zealand cops find hatchback full of shackled sheep Cameron Spencer / Getty Images, file "A lot of sheep get poached, especially during lambing season," Wellington police spokesman Guy Callahan said. "But something like this is not regular." By John Newland, Staff Writer, NBC News Four men, 10 sheep and one very small car. It’s not the start of a joke. It’s what police in New Zealand found Wednesday when a routine patrol turned decidedly woolly. An officer was driving along about 1 a.m. local time Wednesday in Havelock North when he noticed something odd about a 1994 Ford Laser hatchback as it labored along under the power of its 1.3-liter engine, Wellington police spokesman Guy Callahan said. “He would have done a double take and said, ‘What the hell?’” Callahan said. “The officer basically pulled the vehicle over and discovered it was full up with men and sheep. … It’s quite a small vehicle.” The 10 hog-tied sheep had allegedly just been stolen from a farm. Three of the men were charged with theft of stock and cruel treatment of an animal. The men, all locals, weren’t teenagers pulling a prank. Their ages were 35, 22 and 21, Callahan said, adding that stolen sheep are generally slaughtered and eaten. He noted that the meat is expensive, even in New Zealand, which is known for its lamb production. “A lot of sheep get poached, especially during lambing season,” he said. “But something like this is not regular.” The sheep found in the car were returned unharmed, though presumably shaken, Callahan said, adding that he thought the cruelty charge was particularly appropriate, given the hog-tying and the weather. “It’s bloody hot here because it’s in the middle of summer,” he said. “So 10 wool sheep and four men -- it’s, well … it’s hot.” Local media reported that 11 sheep were stolen, which would make the logistics and the car ride even harder to fathom. But Callahan said he was confident the number was 10. “Maybe one of the men was mistaken for a sheep,” he said. This story was originally published on Wed Feb 20, 2013 7:50 AM EST And here is photo of that type of car.....

    Chapter 93

Just got back home today and read this on my Kindle which is not conducive to me commenting as I have the fumble finger syndrome.... Now that I have a keyboard, I just wanted to add my two cents and say what an interesting chapter. Re-winding the story back a bit with the change of point of view worked well. The coitus interruptus was another hoot. JJ despairing and cutting himself was high drama. Hopefully he will get the real help he needs to deal with his feelings and not just have an opportunity to gloss them over without really coming to grips with them. The "accident" is still suspicious and maybe we have not heard the last word on that? Another great job!

    Chapter 14

Wow! So much info as well as tidbits! The one thing that I did notice that I expect some fall-out is the brief moment of panic in CJ's eyes when he and Danny were discussing things.... Another great chapter.
  15. Wow! What a wonderful friend. There are a lot of really sweet, warm, caring people in the world and it sounds like she and her fiancee are in that crowd. Keep warm and stay off the streets until the storm passes!

    Chapter 12

Smarmy uncle Juan? Smarmy doesn't begin to cover what he is! Thanks for the chapter. I loved it except for the last few sentences when we found out just how depraved some of the family members really are.
  17. After the past year in Paternity it was nice to see some genuine laughter and people at least trying to get along. My biggest question from the chapter is about the relationship between Matt and Wade. Wade definitely crossed a line along with Brad and Brad seems to understand that and is pulling back. I'm not sure Wade understands. Matt is having a hard time dealing with it and Wade isn't helping. I think Wade needs a Nana talk, but it sounds farfetched. Maybe JP instead?

    Chapter 91

A very merry Christmas indeed. The banter as usual was superb. I particularly laughed out loud at the following: “So we could not come to an amicable conclusion to our argument, and I pretended to drop it, knowing that I would ultimately win in the end.” “That is where so many of your victories have been won,” Frank joked, which was so rare, and so funny, I almost puked I was laughing so hard." What a fun chapter! Two thumbs up as usual!
  19. While you are out, be sure to pick up some batteries and any supplies you might need for the approaching Snowmaggedon that may hit your area!
  20. According to this site: http://www.usfsa.org/Content/CollegeswithIntercollegiateClubs.pdf there is a very small club program at the University of Chicago. I agree that it would be unlikely for JJ to go there.
  21. This story along with the earlier story about the couple getting married at the Point do show progress. However, I would bet for the rank and file, there are many that are still very discreet about their orientation around many of their fellow troops. Homophobia is alive and well, just maybe not so overt.

    Part18

Thanks for the quick posting. Loved it. But life extensions starting when they boys are still developing and not fully grown men? Would have loved some background on that and why it was being implemented at such an early age. Still one of my top five active stories on the site!

    Chapter 30

Well, that went better than expected. Now if Granger and his merry band can get out of the fort and safely back aboard his ship, it will be called a smashing success. , as usual!
  24. Well it wasn't a blowout like the first half indicated. The Ravens prevailed but the young quarterback for the 'Niners was impressive.

    Chapter 90

A much better Christmas morning than anyone expected. Loved it and loved Will's role in it too. However, I'm not sure going to see Jeanine will work out so well. Thanks!
