It would be interesting to hear Mitch's excuse, but I can't believe it would make any difference. So perhaps it is more tantalizing not to know? Shawn is interesting, but is ready to put up with Jordan's insecurities? Inquiring minds want to know!

The latest chapter in fact has no cliffies. We still don't know what happens to Bridget and her sidekick Billie or whether Rachel fully recovers from her emergency surgery, but the chapter ended at a logical point and it was posted timely. Long-term I'd like to see Sanchez and his cronies make a slip and end up as shark bait as well So some Kudos to one of my favorite (and sometimes very frustrating) authors! -

The man was found guilty, but not of murder. I think the judge actually did a good job of explaining the sentence and his reasons for it. I read an article earlier from an LGBT organization expressing hope that the sentence wouldn't be too severe as he worried about a backlash.

I was off reading a story on my Kindle an didn't check GA until I was ready to retire and lo and behold another chapter was posted earlier this evening. Well I read it and found it to raise more questions than it answered. However, I suspect that was intentional and that subsequent chapters may be similar.....

It seems the old fogies of the Royal Navy are being true to form except for perhaps Bridport who was adamantly opposed to any suggestion of the use of force on his flagship. So I suspect, that is the chink in their hidebound thinking. Davina and Freddy as hosts are another vexation for poor George and their news is peculiar about the pregnancy. As a means to avoid making a voyage, it could even work.

I think the drama immediately ahead is between Wade and his family and the pending election. Mommie dearest isn't quite convinced that Wade can play in her league and we've yet to hear from her over his plans for the D.C. properties she dumped on him for the land for the ski resort.

Whew Hoo, what a hot ending to the chapter! Wade seems to fall into it with hot guys while poor Matt is stuck on a bus..... Great job on a nice transitional chapter. Now for the dragon lady and the campaign?

Josh did great, PP and Jessica both did fairly well. It just depends on their fan base at this point.

Rachel gets her chance at Bridget but can't deliver a knock-out blow even with a cane. B'stoke is on the boat with Trevor and Shane and the chapter ends. It's not even close, this is the biggest cliff-hanger EVER in CJ's infamous career as a writer of cliff-hangers!. All hail to the KING OF CLIFF HANGERS! -
Rachel did some damage but CJ let the b___h get away. The chapter ended with Trevor, Shane and B'stoke-----alone on the boat. The BIGGEST cliff-hanger ever

I like your story, but it is about the most confusing time of anyone's life. And Tanner is a bit more than usually confused about things. A time I am well past by almost 50 years and I really don't think I would have the patience to go through all the BS that kids dish. I hated cliques then and they still put my teeth on edge.

Nice chapter describing Will's progress in getting along with his family after the big blow-up. The scene with Tony was smokin' and it was nice to see some post coital bliss instead of remorse. Piling on Darius about Santa Clara seemed gratuitous, but I assume it was providing background for something coming up later.

Poor Lord Spencer. Reminds me of the Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times!" Spit and then Nore! The Odyssey has an interesting beginning and is already through Chapter 5 before any sailing of the "B" has even begun and it could well be a few more weeks in the late 1790's before the voyage actually commences. In Granger v. Wilcox, it definitely appears Lord Spencer had looked to Granger for advice instead of his pomposity, the Admiral.
