Chapter 8 The Date Dean was content and satisfied with his life. His mood change was soon noted by his co-workers as well. IMHO Wade is the super responsible type. So even if he didn't directly cause his sister to be beaten, he is definitely going to feel like he lit the fuse. That's why he was horrified. A rather specific reaction.

The article I saw said his doctors want him to undergo another procedure ASAP and that he might miss a couple of the Idol tour dates. With all that distraction, and the pressure from the IDOL people, the fact that he was able to stay true to his own self and not try to be someone else is impressive. I bought his album on iTunes and listening to them through some decent speakers instead of my crappy TV speakers made a difference.

I think you have raised an interesting point which could turn out to be validated. Being a player because you have to do it to survive is much different than being a player because you are basically a slut or going through a slutty phase...called adolescence.

Another Will chapter. The part I found interesting was his conversation with Robbie after the encounter with Darius. His interpretation that Robbie was able to write people off and that he may have pushed the envelope and been written off too was interesting. Maybe not completely right, but it does show he is thinking that actions do have consequences, sometimes unintended ones.
