    Wade is having an impact and perhaps the team will be better despite the clueless coach. His meeting with the bankers could be interesting as well. High fees and mediocre performance are not a recipe for long-term success or relationships.

    Whew, CAP is currently in the Fall of 2000 or more than eleven years in the past. I'm still waiting for Mark to introduce Mark Bingham into the story line working our way up to 9/11 or use some other way to bring our cast of characters into that historical perspective where it actually touches them and has a pronounced effect. As to how it will all shake out relationship-wise and other-wise for the cast of the story, I suspect Mark has some ideas and sometimes he lets his stories tell themselves and lead where they take him.... His muse has an historical bent so he will continue to provide context and background apropos to the time.

    What a chapter in what I assumed is the beginning of the battle of St. Vincent. Plowing through the Spanish fleet at night, in the fog, was as bold as brass, but what else could they have done once they found themselves in their midst?

    Treasure each day as they all go by too fast! So sorry to hear about your mom and hope she was cheered to see the grandbaby. Going back to work sucks. At least you got some quality time off to bond with her and now you have a really good reason to not spend extra time at the office! Mike will get to see some really neat stuff over the next two months too and it's so nice you guys could be with her for he first six months of her life. You are both so blest and I think you are beginning to appreciate just how much. Sleeping through the night is a biggie. God bless you and Mike and baby Q too!

    It seems like all the guys who are the best at rimming have some facial hair which seems to definitely add to the sensation....And despite my avatar I do not have a beard or 'stache, just all the white hair.

    The writing in Chapter 11 shows a lot of thought and care in use of the language. From the dialogue with Sean, the later encounter with Matt, to the last sentence of the chapter, it is tight, spare, and very well crafted. The story has definitely moved up a notch in intensity and I eagerly await more. While I too, in some ways prefer the Granger series at the moment because that story is heading into an epic clash, the CAP series was my first introduction to the Arbour world and I could never ignore it.

    It's only a temporary fixation. Another great ending line in a well written chapter. I really enjoyed it. Somehow though, I think Wade's mom will still give him grief.

    Thanks for sharing, and thanks for medications which help so many but not all. It is still a dreadful disease and the social isolation is a terrible burden.

    I have read all 27 chapters posted so far over the past day and a half. I have added this story to those I follow. Hopefully, there will not be a long wait until the next couple of chapters are posted. This is a grand, many faceted story set in an elaborate alternate world with diverse story lines intersecting and related both by blood and combat. While it could use some more editing, it has all the ingredients of a master tale. I can't wait for the coming battles! One small quibble....Prince Kandric's title of premier didn't ring completely true and seemed like something that was settled on. I think I would have suggested Paladin instead.

    The latest chapter reveals that Wade is a lot richer than even he realized which is saying something. His negotiations with his mother may be even more intense as he has discovered her ploy to retain control as trustee. For the truly rich, relationships can be adversely affected by a surfeit of wealth.

    The largest trust which his mom tried to get Wade to sign back control of to his mom had $427,962,459 and then there were assorted other trusts all color coded of which she did retain control as trustee. Poor Wade! I'd not wish that kind of wealth on anyone. What a burden, especially for someone with a bit of a conscience. While it's not billions and billions, he is still young and under the tax laws favoring the super rich during this period of history, it could well be over a billion by the turn of the next decade....

    Succintly put. Brainstorming can also work when you get writer's block and are having a hard time deciding where to go from your latest point in your story. Albeit, it may force you to backtrack a bit....

    If the question is narrowed to: "Would you have unprotected sex with a HIV positive person?" The answer is unequivocably NO. While many feel the pandemic is under control, the number of new cases is still startling since so much is known. Knowledge is not power when people think with the lust in their hearts.     Sounds like your contact with the shrink was less than ideal. Suits in it for the money should be avoided. Finding a good doc is a whole 'nother process....and I am completely unfamiliar with the process of obtaining care in your part of the globe.
