Lewis & Charles in colour
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Lewis & Charles in colour
I vote for T.L.D. Management Co. Ltd. TDL for Tom Leather Daddy... -
Would you like a regular temperature year round or do you like your seasons? Yes Do you wear sunscreen regularly? No Did you watch any TV or Movies yesterday? No Do you own any old paperbacks or hard cover books still? Yes Do you ever read them or are you a digital kind of person now? Yes What is the last book as on paper, did you read? Not sure

Well the young duchess certainly earned the enmity of her husband, father-in-law and Granger. Hopefully her banishment becomes permanent, as frankly, I can't see her ever repenting her ways. George was shaken by her boldness and the complete lack of manners expected of the nobility. I suspect he will encourage Cardona to be thorough in his disposition of the disaster of a wife.... As usual, thanks for this latest chapter and more please!

autonomy - Word of the Day - Sat Mar 21, 2026
Daddydavek commented on Myr's blog entry in Writing World
Maintaining one's autonomy approaching the age of eighty is a definite pursuit. One I hope to preserve for at least another decade.... -
Chapter 6 - Can we do it again
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 6 - Can we do it again
It seems Martin has been back from England a couple of weeks with no mention of any contact with his younger son or his older son's twin, which I find somewhat unsettling. Avoiding contact with the ex probably explains some of it, but still. That his son is in a relationship and wants to move in along with his significant other is also a lot, but Martin seems to be taking that in stride and presented some important things for them to consider before making such a move. The company seems to be proceeding apace and I look forward to the trip to Adelaide, but the coming weekend could be the real info dump where Martin clues his son in as to his changed circumstances. -
I enjoyed watching St. Louis U. Billikens beat the Georgia Bulldogs so convincingly last night. Mizzou plays tonight and SLU's next game is Saturday against number 1 seed Michigan....

So Travis got to meet Austen after watching Will and Austen dominate shirtless in a volleyball set. Will and Austen are both taking their courses seriously and keeping to a schedule. The Halloween party should be fun and pic of the gladiator costume is hot. Travis as James Dean will also be hot, but is also stereotypical.... Looking forward to the party...and the after party.

Tom, Charlie, Pericles & Gloria
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Tom, Charlie, Pericles & Gloria
The "sorting" of Tom was the surprise to me, especially as he seemed excited about it. -
Will dealing with even more celebrity and fame, and Travis' reaction was classic! Volleyball is a great sport and it takes coordination between players like all team sports. I suppose the rivalry will enhance the competition and Finn's house will be suitably trounced. Somehow I think that Austen will be more challenged by Will, just by Will being Will.... As usual, I am always looking for more! Please!

George is well connected and quick to understand the situation. And he does enjoy reconnecting... More please!

My high school readings were much like Bill's, but included Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities and J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye. I've always enjoyed reading.

Turmoil Chapter 4 – decisions and revelations
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Turmoil Chapter 4 – decisions and revelations
Martin's got a lot of explaining to his children as to his sudden change of job, status and wealth and then fend off the certain demands of his ex-wife... I just hope he meets his D'Artagnon sooner rather than later!- 37 comments

I'll never forget, "Heck of a job Brownie"! The unintended irony was major, and the FEMA director resigned shortly thereafter. I'm getting a better understanding of the title of this book too. As usual, more please!

Turmoil Chapter 3 – Family
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Turmoil Chapter 3 – Family
So when did Rick and Simon become boyfriends? Talk about things moving fast! No wonder poor Martin is a bit overwhelmed with changes....- 37 comments

Old pictures & a new commission
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in Old pictures & a new commission
All the photos of British police helmets and truncheons that I found on Google were subject to copyright, but there were a lot of them.. -

I've been playing that line for a very long time with Mark...

It seems that Jeremy has come into his own, decorator wise... Steff did put Julian squarely on notice and the showrunner and the director too, if only by inference... Will is so worried about Travis and not in a healthy way. The Bastille Day celebration could be spectacular in more ways than expected and we expect a lot! As usual, I loved it and humbly request more please!

A visitor, police-work & story time
Daddydavek commented on Robert Hugill's story chapter in A visitor, police-work & story time
Louis and Charlie are a pair, a bit twitchy, but talented in their own ways. The tray sounds delightful and the new story based on the newspapers headlines and attention was cheeky! -
Sun, surf, a new car and an awesome threesome; they are living the dream! More please!

Chapter 1 – Is it a scam?
Daddydavek commented on Paladin's story chapter in Chapter 1 – Is it a scam?
The flight from Perth to London is the real ball buster at more than 17 hours, one of the longest commercial flights available! I suspect they may get to know each other a lot better!- 44 comments

An interesting interlude in the ongoing story of the Realms and power in which the group is tested and proves to be resilient. Enjoy this latest installment of the Widderkin series!

An interesting and instructive interlude where our trusty band of brothers learned much and experienced more. Well done!

Aren't Will and Travis the epitome of Cali boys?
