I do both sometimes. If it's a story that I'm really into, then I'll read every word of it. If it's a story that I partially like, I might skim through the parts I think are not that important. Like some stories the beginning chapter doesn't say much, so I'll just skim it and go to the next. Stories where there's more inward thinking and long explanations I usually end up skimming through. I much prefer when there's a lot of dialogue. i also can't get into a story if the paragraphs are too large, I prefer if there spaced.

First, I always read the synopsis to see if it's something I'd be interested in reading. If I like the synopsis I go ahead and read the first chapter. I usually like stories that focus on late teens and young adult. I also like coming of age and coming out stories. Stories that focus more on emotional connection rather than just the physical aspects. I stop reading a story if I see they have sex in every chapter. My favorite genre is romance with not a lot of drama and preferably a happy ending. I don't like the thriller/suspense genre or ones with too much angst.

Thanks so much for another great chapter. I liked the whole scenes at the hospital and the interaction btw Chase and his siblings. I didn't like Carter too much because of how he seems to look down on Kaleb a little and seems to think that Kaleb can't be someone that Chase could want a serious relationship with. Even with the death of Chases father, I liked how Kaleb knew that bringing him to the nursery would cheer him up a little. Also, I guess Chase have serious feelings for Kaleb if he's talking about babies and growing old together. Even though I really hope they stay together and grow old together; I see obstacles in their paths with the form of Scott and Helen. I can't wait to read the next chapter

WoW!! gr8 chapter. It seems like I've been waiting forever for it to be posted. I really like Billy and Davids' budding relationship and the way they interact with their friends. Lol Sam and David are frenemies and I love how Sam is a softy on the inside and the way she reacts of David's playful taught's. Also, I liked how Billy's mom seemed so unresponsive to finding David and Billy relaxing against each other in such a intimate way as if it's quite normal. Besides that, I love how Billy as grown some spine and not just sit there all passive while his dad degrade him. That might be a result of David's positive influence on him. I can't wait to read the next chapter and hope it won't be as long of a wait as this one was.

I really enjoyed reading this chapter. Thanks for posting this wonderful story it was just what I needed after a miserable rainy day of school. I was looking forward to Chase and Kalebs' date and you did not disappoint. Lol I was at first scared that the date was going to go horrible wrong because of Kalebs' reaction to the menu and the fact that he didn't like anything there. I was very happy when Chase brought Kaleb to a different place where he likes the food and is comfortable. Also, I liked how Chase didn't let Helen ruin his date with Chase and the way he didn't let her intimidate him. Besides Helen, I really like Adam and hope to see a lot more of him. Can't wait to read more.

I really liked this story. So much so, that I read all 5 chapters in one take. I like Kaleb because he contest the stereotypes that people have about what it means to be retarded. There's different levels of retardation, and people can be mentally retarded, yet still have the ability to live a relatively normal and productive life. They can go to college, have a career and be in a relationship. Kaleb proves all those things, though you can still see some instances where you can tell he's a little different than your typical 22 y/o. Like the way he sometimes talk, his bluntness and his innocence. As for Chase, I'm glad he was able to look past Kalebs disability and see the true person. Kaleb and Chase or so cute together, and the way Kaleb ask him to be his boyfriend was down right adorable. Also, Kalebs relationship with the kids in the nursery is very endearing. The only person I don't like too much are Scott, Helen and Paul. Scott because of his response when he found out chase agreed to be Kalebs ; Helen because of the way she treats Kaleb like he's a little boy and Paul because of Chases's description of him being condescending towards Kaleb. The rest of Kalebs' family were cool and I like his brother Adam. Can't wait to read more.

Growing up, I always wanted to become a teacher because my first cousin who I admire and love was studying to become one and she did become one. I also wanted to become a writer because I loved reading and making up my own stories as a child; still love reading; writing, not so much anymore. Right now I'm in college and not really sure what I want to do career wise. I hope I'll have it figured out sometime in the near future. Hopefully

I don't think I've ever had anything happen to me in public that would be considered embarrassing. Atleast for me. I think I'm too careful and aware for anything out of the ordinary to happen to me in public.The thing I find embarrassing is when I see someone running to catch the bus and the driver 'acts' like he's going to stop, but as soon as the person gets to the door, the bus driver drives off and leave them there. lol, That always gives me an embarrassing feeling, even when it happens to someone else. That is why I never run to catch the buses. I mean there's always another one. I do however feel embarrassed when my mom consistently inform people about the mischievous things I used to do when I was ynger.

I don't believe in full out kissing on the first date, you know w/ tongue and everything. I have to get to know the person for about a week or more before a full out kiss, even if I might really like the person on the first date. With that said, I have no problem with a kiss on the cheek or a close mouth kiss which does not include any tongue.

When I used to love Oreos, my way of eating them was to dip them in milk. Now, I don't like them anymore.

Awesome first chapter!! I can already tell that I'm gonna enjoy this story. Basta and Cavel are awesome and I love their personalities. I hope you'll update soon.

I think it's really awesome that, Jason's grandparents left it an expensive car collection and a added trust fund, but I'm worried about how this will affect his relationship with Peter. I kind of get why Peter feels so inferior and not good enough for Jason, but I feel bad for him because it seems like he can't help how he thinks and feels about Jason's financial status. I do think that it's sometimes difficult to be in a relationship where one person has a substantial amount of money than the other person. Peter is almost poor and is always financially struggling, while Jason has enough money where he doesn't even have to work for the rest of his life if he chooses to. I hope they will work things out. Great chapter Can't wait to read the next one!!

I was smiling throughout this whole chapter because of the cute and playful interaction between Pete and Jason. It's good to see them so relaxed and carefree around each other instead of worrying about what the other is thinking or feeling. Also, in this chapter I really felt the intense love they have for each other. I'm looking forward to read the next chapter .

Sounds like an interesting story so far. I like how it's about two boys doing ballet and they're described as manly and not very feminine in their attitudes. From the physical description you gave, I can tell that they're very attractive. By the way, I love guys who're tan with green eyes. I'm liking this story so far, and can't wait to read the next chapter which I hope will be up soon.

I really enjoyed reading this chapter because Billy and David have finally admitted their feelings for each other. I knew that Candace was up to something when she showed up acting totally different from how she usually was and actually wanting to have a conversation with Billy instead of throwing herself at him. Her drugging Billy's drink and almost taking advantage of him shows that she's either insanely in love/obsessed with him or someone is influencing her action. My opinion is that, Billy's dad knows some how that he's gay and by forcing Candace on Billy he hope it will make him straight. Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.
