There are more ways to be a threat than to be able to physically hurt them. I don't think Valentine would physically challence GLory, not now but i wouldn't put it past him to try to make his life hell... and Glory really isn't feeling too secure right now. Thanks for your review as ever

I have a very advanced sense of self preservation. I had to, to have survived this long. I know when something isn't right, when there is danger lurking. I tick off the things that I know. I’m warm and comfortable so there is no threat of freezing or falling or being hurt by my immediate surroundings. Shit. An explosive beginning and end and an exciting story in between. If this is a taste of things to come then I can't wait to read the rest. Of course this could stand as a story in it's own right but i am definitely hoping there is going to be more

About time. Interesting. Re introducing the characters is a fabulous way to move on. Everyone is in their own private hell in their own way... well apart from Cody and Liam i guess. I hope you don't take so long to update next time. I am going to have to back and re read again now that you've re piqued my interest.

There's not much left to come about Ariel and Jake BUT don't worry the next book is basically all about Ariel and Ben. We get to see inside their heads and how they change as they grow up.

Thank you. Silver is a beautiful character, you know how much I love him. He is strong, maybe the strongest character I have ever written. No one could completely recover from all that had happened to him... well, if by recover you mean to be 'normal' Silver is always going to be himself, extraordinary, simple, sweet and not understanding the badness in the world because he can't understand what was done to him and why. I think a lot of people would have internalised it... like Asher did I think... but Silver wears his heart on his sleeve and cant internalise so he moves on. How far he moves on will be seen later -
I wasn't sure that I would post both but when I checked the epilogue was only just over 1000 words long and i thought that it would have been a let down if I built up the last chapter and all you got was that. I really don't think that we need to see Sophy and Ray again. They got their when they lost Ben. BUT they may well cross up again in Book III

I don't think he could ever have fully had him period. When Silver came along Asher's heart was frozen. He knew that Tony loved him and Tony healed him in many ways but he was still frozen inside. Silver defrosted him and the real tragedy was that Silver was leaving and if Tony had done nothing then Asher would have gone back to him closer then he was before. I know what you mean about not feeling sorry for him though. He really got what he deserved.

RIVER I have been such a fool. Sam was the first to tell me and the last to let me live it down. I was more than a fool. River isn’t speaking to me. Oh, I don’t mean that we’ve had a row or anything, he’s just not speaking. Before we left I asked him again if he was sure he wanted to come and he swore to me he was, that he wanted to be there for me, but the look in his eyes didn’t match the words coming out of his mouth.
