  1. Maybe I didn't read it right but I think you may have missed one thing about the new paragraph issue. If the same person is speaking in the second paragraph you don't close the speech marks at the end of the paragraph but you do open them at the start of the next. EG "Speaker is conveying a larger piece of information than can be dealt with in a single paragraph "So they continue in another paragraph, without having ended the previous one with the speech marks, which come - now."
  2. Happy Birthday my rainbow coloured friend.
  3. Not stuck at all hun. I've been in much the same position myself recently I'm not going to tell you that you should change, or start thinking of yourself more or say no more, or any of that becuase if I did I would be a bigger hypocrite than I already am You know it's true though. Hugs.
  4. Is it me or are there suddenly way too many 'like' buttons. They seem to be jumping out at me from everywhere. I am a scatty thing and I keep forgetting to click them. It seems as if every time I read an entry or a blog or look at a picture, there are at least two to click and by the time I've fnished reading the chapter or the blog or looking at the picture I've completely forgotten about the like button or the stars and then I feel guilty when I realise, which is usually much later. So, for every picture I have looked at and not 'liked', evey story/author, I have read and reviewed but not 'liked' and for every blog I haven't clicked then I apologise. I do like you really... honest Well.... except whoever killed me in the Mafia game... you I'm out to get
  5. oooooh Single Maaaallllttt. *drool*. My personal favourite it Talisker. It's aged beneath the tide line in caves and it tasted slightly of the sea. If you pause just as you are taking the first sip and close your eyes you can practically hear the waves Laphroaig isn't bad at all, though; not bad at all. Oban is a good one to try if you like Laphroaig, as is Islay. Another personal favourite is Arborlour which is made from the water of a private well and is very consistent in flavour. Not that I drink much whiksy of course Glad to see you're doing better hun. HUGS to you
  6. I second what Frostina said. I wish Viv would write more. This is really a beautiful story, definitely of the feel good variety.
  7. Oh, I'd like to recomment this group too. They are doing exactly what the video is urging us to do. I'm a member and have been from conception www.facebook.com/WHOF1
  8. That was a hell of a powerful message hun. It was hard to watch but I did, right to the end. Thank you for sharing.
  9. Happy Birthday, Darling.
  10. You've made me think there. I'm not going to write another book because, as far as I am concerned the story is told, although it might be interesting to explore Bridge's past a little more. Or even re tell the story from Bridge's point of view. Hmm... Talking about fan fic, I'm more than happy for you to write a spin off if you're up to it. I feel very honoured that you made an account just to review this story. I hope you stay around and participate in the forum. You might make some good friends
  11. HAHA, glad you enjoyed it :)They are just so damn slow putting up chapters at lit
  12. Is that a real programme. She's awesome. That's me when I'm making a big, home cooked meal, like Christmas Dinner or for a dinner party. I get through half a bottle of whiskey
  13. I agree with Mark. Writers block is not entirely there because those few sentences were sweet
  14. The same thing goes for the grammar checker. I've had some really bizarre suggestions thrown up. Everything needs to be double checked, before you take the advice.
  15. Ooops. Happy Day After Birthday
  16. Don't listen to Andy. You've got YEARS left before you have to grow up... I haven't managed it yet.
  17. Thank you. I think that Gabriel is hypnotising Cyan, using his own desire to do it. Cyan is so entranced by his incredible desire for Gabriel that he can't see the reality of what's going on. In one way he deserves everything he gets and it's not as if he didn't know that beautiful boys are dangerous
  18. I know, crazy isn't it? This technophobic technopathetic girl has managed all by herself (almost) to make a whole blog page. Go take a look at vote in my poll as to which kind of man you prefer. http://nephylim-author.blogspot.com/
  19. Every stage is the best stage Make the most of each one. For all the things you miss there will be another you catch. They change so fast there will be times when you get to catch the first thing just hope it's not chicken pox
  20. You know how much I loved this story, and the ending was SO perfect I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that... but I will. It was perfect. It was so lovely to see that the boys stayed together and had children of their own. They are beautiful. You brought them to life beautifully. Thank you for giving us such beautiful people
  21. Master and puppy looking fine Show off Awesome pic
  22. OMG you speak Japanese Oh right... it's technoese. I don't speak that. In fact I have a phobia
  23. That is an incredibly interesting question and some incredibly interesting answers. I think there are competing moralities. Is it morally right to screw up your kid's life because of their sexual orientation (and for the record, I think that parents have a right to have those views but NOT to force them on their child OR make him suffer for it.) I think not. Is it morally right to allow your parents to do something that they are morally obiged to do (help your children do the best they can with their lives) by keeping from them something that would almost inevitably lead to them behaving in an Immoral way. I think he is actually doing them a favour in not telling them because he is stopping them behaving immorally... saving them from themselves, as it were.
  24. Wow, thank you so much. I am really touched. I don't think I'll be living off royalites any time soon Maybe, when I become the gay JK Rowling So keep your eyes on this space for, oh, twenty or thirty years
  25. You're a treasure, my dear, and one I hope we can share for a ling time to come. I hop your wife recovers very soon.
