Marcus and Jacob have been at it for four months, but now people are starting to figure it out and it's threatening the delicate balance of their relationship. Marcus is preoccupied with writing his dissertation, and Jacob is even more angry than usual. Contains gratuitous swearing, some mild masochism and just a touch of violence. Conrad is desperately bored serving drinks at the gay bar where he works, until one day Kim shows up, and Kim is anything but boring.

Jacob doesn't really like Oliver, but somehow he seems to be his first for almost everything. Marcus hates his life, and his dad, and pretty much everything in his dreary industrial town, but makes a go at trying out new things anyway. Two short stories set before The F*cking Trilogy. Stephen met his gaze for the briefest of seconds, dark eyes looking back at him. They were the exact opposite of his own, which were of such a light blue that they were almost grey. The man gave Stephen a half smile and said, ‘Excuse me,’ as he walked past.

He was by far the most gorgeous person Stephen had ever seen.

Kevin has been out for years. He's attractive, outgoing and flirty, and thrives in the openminded community of Kemp Town in Brighton. For his best friend Jeff, however, coming out is not as easy, particularly since he's in love with Kevin and not at all his type.

He plays for me, humming along with the melody. Waves break lazily against the side of the yacht as it moves along down the bay at a leisurely pace. I lean back in my seat and just watch him, listen to the sound of his voice. Always liked that voice. Always listened when it came up on the radio.
