When rumors and sightings of the fabled 'vampire mimic' become a reality for all who dwell in darkness...the entire city is turning itself inside out and upside down preparing for battle...and an arms dealer by the name of 'Rizzy' is set to make a fortune off of it. The riverboat takes the travellers to the town of Five Hills, the headquarters known as Castle Cache. There, Zal Fizol tries once more to make his old adversaries realise the danger they face. As the web of intrigue grows ever tighter, Josel finds himself a mere pawn in a much bigger game. When old grudges and hatreds seek a way to unravel, all of humanity is at stake.

Not even the thick walls of Castle Cache can protect them from the Darkness. Especially when the enemy lurks within the castle. At the same time, someone loves another person so much that it hurts.

Ancient forces have awaited the two unknown lovers for over 200 years, weapons drawn. Now, young Alex accepts the invitation of his mysterious benefactors to New Orleans, where he meets Jacques. Through their immediate but shaky bond, they uncover startling truths, face expectations thrust upon them and their own demons. The fight is on.

Members of two different species experience love and hate.

This is another of my stories from 2014. I decided to post it here because it's remained one of my faves, despite its flawed grammar.

Somewhere between parenting his little half-brothers, supporting his ailing grandfather in the family business and constantly arguing with his twin brother, Cedric has forgotten himself.

Riley needs money. To help his mom with the debts his dad left behind, to pay for his brother's life-saving therapy, to pay his own debts. But despite working two jobs and putting in long hours, it's never enough.

After a disastrous blind date, Cedric turns up on Riley's doorstep with an interesting offer in his pocket. It could actually be a win-win situation, were it not for a total of six constantly intrusive brothers…

It's a common belief that places can be haunted due to things that occurred there. This seems especially true for prisons, hospitals, and hotels. As I have done before, I thought it would be interesting to tell a story from a unique perspective; this time, a haunted hotel story, but from the hotel's most notorious room's perspective. So, once again, this is an anthropomorphic story. We'll get to experience some of the nasty things that happened in room 606 of the fictional Memphis-Mississippi Hotel. We will experience what the room witnesses. Witnesses, or is the room itself an active participant?

A Myth in Eight Parts

I wrote this many years ago as an experiment in building a cast of characters and finding ways to weave their stories together. I didn't realize until recently I only ever posted the first section on this site. It's been a treat to revisit this old tale with new eyes.

The Empire is torn into two, with brothers competing for the throne. War divides families and upends lives. The people suffer and plead to the Four Gods for deliverance -- but the Gods move in mysterious and unexpected and not always entirely pleasant ways.
