New Eden, thrives on the backs of Capsuleers. Men and women who have decided to become immortal through the use of clones. They train, in order to pilot starships of various sizes and roles. Marcus is one such capsuleer, and this is his story.

Summer vacation had started out well for Derry and Caleb. There was much to occupy two adventurous boys in the rural landscape in which they lived. They had the woods, and the fields, and the waterways to occupy them.

And they had each other.

But then they made a discovery - a strange place hidden in the forest, a pathway to lands beyond description. And suddenly, the summer was not quite so simple any longer.

Tahri military sent a battleship to Nantahanak, a Tahri outpost in borderline territory. The mission goal was clear: identify the alien force and terminate all alien activities. Ekhi came out of its idle state and discovered the Tahri spaceship.

Chris Williams was exiled from Parker Valley Pack after participating in an attack on the mate of another wolf. After being forced to leave the only home he knew, he was taken in by a pack on the west coast as a favor to his old Alpha. At the suggestion of the counselor helping him work through his many problems, he began keeping a journal of his thoughts on what got him to where he is.

These are a few of the short flash fiction pieces I've done in response to various writing prompts I've been given. I will post the prompt and then the short pieces I came up as chapters here. I'd love to see any pieces inspired by any of these prompts from others too!

According to official statements, the craft reached its target in the constellation of Scorpius, but hence was never heard of again. What happened with the ship and the crew? The truth is out there.
