This is a collection of my works from the 2025 Twitch Authtober Wordathon. Our collective goal is 1.5 million words by the end of the month, so I wanted to help by writing nothing but prompt responses.

This story is a stand alone saga but also a "sidequel" to "The Making of a Slave.” It explores Andrew's relationship with Connor, Patrick's younger brother (first appears in Chapter 9 of The Making of a Slave).

Hellbenders are a species of salamanders. While primarily amphibious, they do occasionally venture onto land. Their numbers are dwindling. It would seem that one population of them have discovered a method to survive in smaller numbers.

The crayfish are happy they’re no longer the hellbender's primary food.
