Carlton Henderson, who at the age of 12, lost his father in a shipping accident, and for two years, he and his mother Elizabeth, struggled to survive. With the assistance of Carlton's uncle, his father's brother, Jayden - (Jay) and wife Jacqueline - (Jacq), who are owners of three Cray fishing boats in North- East Tasmania, Carlton spends his weekends and holidays working on the lead Cray boat with his Uncle and Aunt, while completing his high school education, then University to study Marine Science and Applied Science.

Life had been going fairly normal for 16 yo Mitchell Benning, until the annual spring community fair, during the 3rd term school holidays. One sentence from his so called best friend ended all of that in one fair swoop. A day after the fair, Mitchell packed up most of his belongings, and he was sent to his mother's spinster sister to live, and with hard times on the farm, he would not be returning to boarding school for the final school term of the year. Many years later, Mitchell will return to his home town, and a firestorm of a different kind will strike the town, not just the one with him returning to face the community.

Life had been difficult for Anton, but suddenly things look brighter, and as the time passes, with many challenges during the journey life slowly improves.

OK,so I admit it. This time I went a little bit too far, come on! Why in the hell did he have to send me to Timbukf! Ok, so he's not sending me that far in reality, but Zenis Indiana? You've got to be kidding me!! What's there Chickens? Cows? Corn fields? What am I supposed to do there? That son of dad's friend better be hot!. AND GAY!
