In the depths beneath the Everbright City lies a vast complex of caves known as The Shade. The Underking of the Shade, Salidar thulu'Khant, seeks to free the demons imprisoned in the city above and use them to unseat King Neredos, the immortal ruler of humanity. In the future, three boys move to a new town to start new lives. Taxon, Hunter and Elijah find themselves in a new home with a whole new adventure.

Peter is a sweet highschool teen, who seems to have all the friends to keep up the appearances and avoid the bullying, but he's actually very lonely (I know how it feels) but that's about to change.

Not all demons are evil, sadistic bastards. Some, like our hero, want change in hell: gardening, a professional work ethic, reading romances. Perhaps, even love.
