Like all of us Chris has had many experiences in life, some good, some bad. He's also had successes and failures, just like you and me. This is about how he coped with the hand that life dealt him and started to grow up.

It's an emotional story with many ups and downs, so if you can take the pace, have the tissues ready and read on.....

Two twin boys, and gay. How to tell this story is simple but complicated. Devon a boy of 16 struggling with difficulties of a home life. Josh a boy of the same age, that has everything he wants, but one thing, his brother. Both are struggling with their past and maybe present. Hopefully they find each other. When Charlie goes to the family home he discovers the boy and been beaten, whipped, raped, and one of his arms is broken. Charlie takes the boy into his home and all hell is loosed on his life.

Patrick (or Trick to his friends) is starting college and has put his rough high school days behind him. Cody, one of his former bullies, is back in Patrick's life and won't let him get away easily this time.

This is the third book in The Barnstable Chronicles. While you don't necessarily have to read the first two stories to enjoy this one, I highly recommend that you at least read Book One, Stitcher as many of the people and events in that story are referenced here. If you haven't read the second book, Charlie Danner Finds His Way, you can read it at any time.
