Jack Ladd was born in the UK in a small English town and fled to Sydney, Australia, as soon as he could. There he spent many years discovering the world, the people who call it home, and, most importantly, himself. Oscar and his adventures are based on true events.

Painted Blue seeks to capture the crux of a detective story while simultaneously doing justice to the normalcy of gay men's lives and exposing readers to real, honest BDSM. None of these individual elements are always pretty and I hope that I show that in believable, organic ways.

My stories are always about queer people, often queer people who also belong in another kind of minority group.
My three main stories (The Orchestra, Be Myself! and MaruMonzterz) are actually part of the same universe, and will eventually connect. 
My newest story, A Fairy Out of Her Tale, was created to celebrate me starting my own Patreon page, and my "proper" writing career.

James Matthews is a British amateur writer specialising in Romance and Drama. James writes gritty, mature novels with a Technicolor view of working-class to middle-class world-building. Although written in modern times, most of James' work features coming of age themes or young adults, taken from his experiences as a young lad growing up in the late 90s. It's time to write stuff that's more fun.
I write in a variety of genres but most typically Sci-fi and GLBT drama.

My work is driven by my characters gleefully taking on lives of their own and dragging me along with my notepad and pen at the ready. Even if, to paraphrase Stephen King, you take ordinary people and throw them into extraordinary circumstances to see how they respond, I prefer realism, stories that could be happening right now with your neighbors, your friends, your family, or even you. And since my characters don't always give me a happy ending, I can't always give you one. Which is about as real as it gets.
