My Prince wasn't actually a real Prince... and his father wasn't a real King... and his real name wasn't Elwyn. Jesus, who would call a kid that, other than maybe a screenwriter creating some medieval drama for the silver screen? Drama would eventually take my Prince to the pinnacle of his chosen profession. A moving and very well-written story about two boys, one shy and one self-confident, great friends. It is about being there for each other, caring for each other, especially when help is needed. And it is about learning about oneself, one's strengths and interest - even when that leads to opposing people we love.

Well worth reading and absolutely edifying.

A delightful story about the burgeoning relationship between two teenage boys, Brayden and Charlie.

Brayden, a confident boy who is happy in his own skin, is drawn to Charlie who is shy and quiet, seemingly not wanting to be seen. Encouraged by Brayden, Charlie auditions for the lead In their school’s production of a very popular play currently in season overseas. Charlie is successful in his audition and finds a place where he shines and in which he can hide in public, but for how long.

What happens in Charlie's life and by default in Brayden's life as a result of Charlie's stellar performance in the school play, is a series of events which demonstrate that sometimes dreams can come true.

The usual high standard of storytelling by the author @Mark Ponyboy Peters, who once again retains the services of @MJC as his editor, resulting in a flawless work which was a pleasure to read. Well-written characters, believable plots and universal themes, the usual hallmark of Mark’s works are ever present.

Read and enjoy.

Response from the author:

Thank you, kind sir!

This is an outstanding story of friendship, youth, growth and life. It is so well composed and written that all I can say is:  READ IT !!!!  The main characters pull you into a life with fear, bullying, friendship, protection and love. While the story paints an amazing picture, the ending is simply extraordinary.  Read this and other stories by this author and you will be swept into an amazing world from down under.  Great work Mark!!

Response from the author:

Thank you so much for your kind words!

This is the tale Brayden and Charlie, two teenage boys.

Charlie is quiet and shy, but Bray convinces him to audition for the school play.

Charlie is successful in his audition and finds a place where he can shine.

You need to read on to discover how Charlie and Bray's lives changed because of one simple audition.
