We meet Nilus, a young man who is hiding from his bodyguard.

As to why he hiding from his bodyguard, you’ll need to read this light hearted story, to find out.

Congratulations to our mystery author, on a fun read.

Response from the author:

Glad you enjoyed it! Just one of my many plot bunnies hopping about in my head that I managed to eek out without having to go full throttle for once.

A short, light-hearted, and enjoyable read, with a little humor and a little mystery involved.  The characters are compelling, with each having their own unique quirks, and the story ends on a happy and upbeat note.

Response from the author:

It's no The Bodyguard, that's for sure! 😂 Hope it brought a smile to your face.

A short light-hearted modern fantasy story about a singer and his bodyguard.

This is a fun offbeat story with things that are common and fantastical. Fans of Urban fantasy will see familiar elements.

Response from the author:

I was trying to break my brain trying to figure out the categories for this one and here you go and drop the magic words "Urban Fantasy" that for some reason evaded me this whole time.🤣

A funny, quirky tale from another world. Suitable not only for aquatic kin but also human kin like us!  As for the author, a complete mystery.

Response from the author:

"Kin" was what I settled on to not call them sirens...because if I did, I would have to figure out what the other elements would be and so I lumped them all into just different "kin." 😂

If you are looking for a unique take on the sirens of the past who lure sailors to their demise, you won't be disappointed. There are sexy singers, long-suffering bodyguards, water (with or without sparkles), and a fun introduction to something I've not familiar with. Great fun story by a talented SA.

Response from the author:

"With or without sparkles" - I love it! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 🥰
