Wayne's Poems - 27. Music

I listen to the sounds
of creatives hurling emotion
without ever knowing
what will become of their waking dreams.
Will they fly to silence
in a soulless heart - the beating dead?
Or will they crash like waves
in the chests of those who feel too much?

i've had a lot of time to think about this one.  i think creatives are like the ocean, deep and filled with much that is and always will be hidden,  and if we are lucky, now and then, we conjure up a pearl worth sharing

The question you pose is fantastic. You pack a lot of thought into these few lines.

Thanks, Parker. I shouldn't be so judgmental toward those who don't really appreciate music. But ... that is so very alien to me.

Glad to see you back my friend!!

Thanks. 🙂

I'm working away on a story now, but thought I'd drop this little bit of fluffy thought-stuff in.

I like this sentiment. There's a lot of "stuff" swirling around in me, but most of it isn't worth much. Some though ... some I want to show to others and have them experience it.

Thanks for the comment, tim. 🙂

Thank you, molly. It’s not structured well, but it says what I wanted to say. 🙂
