  1. Hey everyone, My partner and I just wanna say hey to everyone 😊 Hope this is ok to share on here and ask for some advice? He's come out as bi and wants to explore his more feminine side If anyone has any tips or advice for newbies, please feel free to inbox me 😊
  2. My sister use to eat squid rings (crumbed and fried squid) all the time, the smell makes me want to vomit and I think she use to eat them just to annoy me Before I became a vegetarian, I loved crab sticks (mashed up crab crumbed and fried) seriously the best thing from the fish and chip store. Fried prawns are great as well.
  3. I have A LOT of problematic words, some that I can pronounce but can't spell, some that I can spell but not pronounce, others I just try and explain the word because I can't pronounce or spell them. Some words I have an extreme hatred for because I really don't like them and they piss me off. For example: I hate sliver. Don't mention around me, it's making me cringe just typing it. I can't pronounce ambulance, comes out as am-bl-nc. I can't spell resterante (restaurant) I always have to google it, even if I've just written it somewhere I just can't spell it correctly. I don't understand a lot of the English language because it does not make sense. I normally spell sense 'sence' but autocorrect on my phone fixes it, if spell check didn't exist I would be able to write half the words I want to. The Australian language can be confusing when it comes to words where the English spell it with a 'z' and the Americans spell it with an 's'.. why not just agree on one or the other?!?! Language is annoying and I don't like it but you can't really function without it.
  4. Happy Birthday Graeme!!!! Hope you got spoilt and had a good day

  8. Thanks for reading and reviewing my poem Eric!
  9. I think this is a good poem, but I agree with LJH that the poem would work better without all the kiss me's. I personally didn't get the feeling of any emotion in your poem, which is what I love in the poetry I read. This feels more like it could be the start of a longer story (or poem) that elaborates on all the lines.. Like what books you felt were being used to kiss you. But I think you've got good potential to write great poems.
  10. As far as I know of not many captains go down with their ship, but I could be wrong.
  11. Thanks for reviewing Cele. I appreciate your feedback but I do have a few comments. I write poetry as something to help me deal with my emotions and what's going on in my life at the time. None of its made up for the sake of writing. This poem is about a friend of mine who passed away, and I never got to say goodbye to him. I get angry or upset and then I calm down. When have you ever felt consistently one mood without slight variations? Say being in a happy mood, Yes you may come back to being happy, but there are times during the day that knocks your mood before you become happy again. I think my poem flows if you understand that. None of my poems have much rhyming in them, which is why I write free verse poetry.... I personally hate reading poetry that's main focus is having sentences the same or words that rhyme. I think that if you put over emphasis on the structure then you lose sight of what the poems telling you. Keeping the same number I lines to a segment or in a recognisable patten... I think if you read my other poems then you might understand the way I write a bit better. Poetry is storytelling, if you felt a bit disjointed in reading mine then remember to not write your poems like mine lol Thanks Cele again for reading and reviewing
  12. Thanks Astro for reading and reviewing
  13. Thanks TJ, I didn't write is as a tribute but more about my feelings towards what happened.. but I guess it could make a good tribute, Thanks for reading and reviewing
  14. I think of you in times of need. Though the sound of your voice is growing quiet, your actions have imprinted in me. I think of what you would tell me, when I’m pushing too hard. I know what you might have said; you never had the chance to. You’re my guardian angel, My Sleipnir. A part of you has stayed with me. You knew how much I would struggle, Otherwise you would have left. I fear I’m not to your standard. I try my hardest, but that isn’t good enough. I pale in comparison t
