I need happy endings ALL the time. LOL

I'll take what we can get, though. I did find it interesting both his boss and the therapist dealt with other gay NFL players. The fight/drive won't be over until those men feel free to come out.

Me too actually... I didn't want to sound greedy  

i found that really interesting too. I mean, we know there has to be gay NFL, NHL, NBA etc players, just by applying general statistics, but it is nice to see proof in print. That's a positive step, and affirming/encouraging to those young gay athletes with a dream.

We shouldn't have to announce ourselves, beg for acceptance, it sickens me we are expected to. I know I'm lucky my family just did. I'm afraid I do not worry about other's sensibilities now. tim is walked, kissed and hugged when I feel like it, no matter where we are. And that's how it is and how it should be. Great story Carlos.  

Thanks for posting about him. I read his story a few days ago and it's all so familiar. When I was at the Outsports conference last week, there were a lot of people who were there and they had no support at all, including one kid who got thrown out because he wasn't completely straight. Broke my heart, especially since he's so young.

I'm glad things are working out better for Mr. O'Callaghan, and I'm so grateful that his professional support was able to help him.
