Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 24 - Nov. 30)

Like in Independence Day....Hello Boys! I'm baaaaaaaack :)

Well, also you gurls, actually everyone! Thank you Renee for taking my place last week

So I'm dried out from last weekend, which is a good thing! Last weekend I was at a football game, outdoors and it was hovering around 0C or 32F. Quite pleasant football weather (oh, North American Football I should say). Now this weekend, -30C or -22F, and I'm not enjoying this weather 😠 I'm thinking of all of you in Florida, or Australia or elsewhere sunny and tropical (not LA this weekend 🥶). So without any further chit chat, lets get to the wrap up so I can crawl back into my warm bed, fire up the iPad and get down to some serious reading!

Monday it was time to have our CSR Discussion Day for the month of November:

Onto Wednesday and we had the reveal of the mystery person in the Author Guess Who:

Thursday my Christmas wish came true when Myr sneaked in and let us know about the new Reading History. I've been asking for this for decades! Okay, that may be a bit of a lie 0:). But I know a lot have been asking for this and now it is a reality :worship:

Then there was the really, really, really big news, something to get excited about here at GA! The first round of stories were released for the Fall Anthology.

With all the great stories posted and updated this past week, this surely meant that we must have done gooder on our goals :P We were so close to having a Blue Friday on Black Friday:

It's been freezing at night here in Tampa. Going down to the 50s and 60s overnight, and chill at the low 70s during the day. Had to turn the heat on the other morning it was that cold.

It's already been as low as 16 here in Alabama. The 'freezing' temps you describe have been during the day. 😀

Hey, Doc, is the weather complicated by the huge, dark cloud over Tuscaloosa this morning? :P

LOL I actually watched a lot of it, and I'll admit I was rooting for Auburn. I also cheered for Michigan, but Ohio State destroyed them.

Oh, i have to laugh ... we have a day of freezing rain, snow, high winds and ice pellets ahead of us. We are supposed to drive to St. Catharines today. Not sure it is worth the risk. They are supposed to have freezing rain most of the day.

I was going for laughs. 🙂 You and Mike stay safe, my brother. Hugs.

@wildone btw, Steve, no hating but right now I'm sitting outside in shorts no shirt, and I already went for a motorcycle ride this morning wearing only a t-shirt. :P

Stay safe and warm! We've had snow on the ground since Thursday. Temperatures around -5°C, which I believe is about 23°F. Wind chill at -9°C. It's supposed to get warmer on Tuesday, but I almost wish it wouldn't. Snow's gonna melt, then it'll get cold again, and you'd be safer wearing skates than walking out there. :P

Right? Sometimes them plowing it makes it worse for walking. Especially if it warms and it melts and freezes again.

It's been snowing/blizzarding off and on here since Thursday morning, which means the roads have been closed off and on (more on than off) since Thanksgiving.  Of course, the two times I decided to go to the next town over, the roads were good when I left, and it was a blizzard coming home. It was ugly and I don't think I went more than 35mph either time coming home (the regular speed limit is 75)

So. totally don't mentioned eating ice cream while sitting next to the firepit in the backyard in just my shorts and a t-shirt, and watching a herd of kids running around (or that we turned the AC back on today).
