It's here!  It's here!  We've been waiting all year, and it's finally time to release the beasts!  Uh... creatures... uh... anthology stories :D

We had a fantastic turnout for this anthology, so get ready to read, comment, react, and review! I'll be splitting up the submissions over the next few weeks, so if you don't see your story featured here today, don't worry, you're on the list for a different week this month.

🚨 Emergency! 🚨

All anthology stories are missing, presumed devoured. 

 

Detective Inkognito Cheeto reporting for duty.

I arrived on the scene ready to sink my teeth into some monstrous prose… only to find every link dead, every story vanished.

No blood.

No traces.

I suspect a server-dwelling story-snarfing chupacabra with a taste for suspense and a vendetta against hyperlinks is on the loose.

I’ve seen it before.

Smells like plot holes and printer ink.

Possibly invisible.

Possibly illiterate.

Either way, every link says “We could not locate the item,” which is exactly what I'd say if I was hiding the evidence after a literary feeding frenzy.

Someone grab a flashlight, a priest, and maybe a very large net.

We’ve got a creature feature mystery on our hands.

Apparently internet-dwelling creatures have absconded with the anthology stories... :unsure:  The links are live on my end, so there must be some sort of bug or glitch that needs squashing by our Grand Wizard @Myr

I suspect a permissions problem. I can access my own, but no others.

I hadn't quite left yet since I had laundry to fold (why can't the sock eating monster just fold the rest of the clothes in payment??!) I think I did the thing that lets everyone read the stories through the links @Valkyrie added here on the blog. I checked via a browser I'm not logged in (as a site guest) and I was able to access Aditus' story chapter text. Myr might need to make more things visible/accessible later, but hopefully that's a good start for everyone.

Whew!  I just finished reading this first set of incredible stories.  Kudos to all of the wonderful authors that created thrilling and thoroughly enjoyable stories with unique interpretations of the theme "Creature Feature)!
