Zeoanne Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I just went to "The Padded Room" which is the site that had the link to Felis Character... There is a note in there that explains why they took it off their site... Here's the link for anyone who'd like to find out... BTW, good site also. http://felis.paddedroom.us/
Skylights Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I just went to "The Padded Room" which is the site that had the link to Felis Character... There is a note in there that explains why they took it off their site... Here's the link for anyone who'd like to find out... BTW, good site also. http://felis.paddedroom.us/ OH, i see. Thanks, and hopefully they will put it up again soon. It seems like a great tool to use. I often find myself forgetting the little details about my characters, especially when I took a long time off from writing, thus leading to inconsistencies. D:
Zeoanne Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Sky. read the previous post I sent. It has the link to Felis...
Skylights Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Oh i see, I thought it redirected me to a promotional site but it's there under the programs thing. Anyway, stupid question, but why does it have all those names in the directory already? To anyone who has used it.
Site Administrator Cia Posted October 18, 2009 Site Administrator Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) I just downloaded this, perfect tool. Mine was blank, not used. I am not sure what your difficulties are Skylights, sorry. I think this would be a helpful tool for authors, many forget details about their characters, such as age, style, family background. I even once read a story that in 10 chapters the protagonist had a wee wee that start with one size overall when hard, shrunk a 1/2 inch then ended up being a 1/2" bigger when hard than it was in the beginning. Sooo not cool, I mean why tease all the guys that wish they have a select a size? Cia PS: Thanks for the link Rush Edited October 18, 2009 by Cia
Linxe Termoil Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 One word....well, maybe 3... Microsoft Office OneNote 2007. That's where I usually keep all my notes. for chapter outlines...I finally figured out how to use Word 2007
KJames Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 and then there's another story construction and note management software package put out by Spacejock Software, it's at: http://www.spacejock.com, along with several other programs that he has written for other purposes, it's not as richly featured as CSUs Character Manager, but geared more around the story, its continuity and scenes than the character details. Using the two should produce good results.
