Morgaine, you'll probably want to read "Everybody's Wounded" first, if you haven't already, as this story is a sequel to that one.

Thanks. I actually already did, in an amazingly short amount of time. This story is addictive. :D

Couldn't agree more. Addictive is an understatement. In fact, I've had to severely chastise myself every time I catch myself whining for a chapter update.

Very addictive. I started EW on my day off and finished it in once sitting. Lovely. It broke my heart and put it back together again. I was giddy when I saw that How the Light Gets In was a sequel. I was wondering about Luc. Anyway, I loved it. Loved the characters. Each and every one of them. Can't wait for another chapter!

That's Jennifer Warnes, Sweetie, and whether or not she still is, I don't know, married to Joe Cocker, I have loved her since the first time I heard her. She does this song about the fashion industry that does a recurrent loop in my head--but have you heard "Frankie in the Rain"? You simply must.

Aren't you forgetting something? Rather soon for such a thoughtful boy. That must be typing I hear.

Thanks for making Cohen more than just a name to me.

Tracy

Thanks for the link. It's pretty, but ... doesn't have the depth of Cohen's ...

There are two women who I really like interpreting Cohen, both of whom were his backup singers at various times. One is his current lover Anjani, who released a cd which he produced last year or the year before called Blue Alert, his poems, mostly her music. The other is Jennifer Warnes... she did a LC cover cd that someone gave me last year... it is gorgeous. It's called Famous Blue Raincoat. It's Jennifer Warren singing backup on Take this Waltz (which is the song Luc is listening to in EW when Scott first talks to him in the library, the song based on a poem by Lorca...)

Oh, there's a third. I like KD Lange's version of Hallelejuah a lot.... not quite as much as Jeff Buckley's...but as much as Rufus Wainright's...

Not to seem like an idiot or anything but, it's going on ONE year since the last post of this story. Is this story really going to get finished ? After this story now I don't like investiing time in new authors if there isn't a finished product. This story is the 2nd time i read a story and it got so far and then just stopped abruptly with no notice at all saying whether or not it was going to finish. I would be more understanding if there was a reason given for the ONE year delay, but since there's no reason then I just will keep the other comments what I was going to say.
