Hey everyone,

Sorry this has taken so long...but I think I'm kinda on a roll now.... You can find Chatper 14 HERE.

Duncan.

PS.... some people commented on 14 in 13.... so you might want to read there as well..

Yeah, Connor, I thought I'd give writing straight a try. I'm hoping no one throws anything at me.... 0:)

Duncan, there is so much pain in your story. How much of it is your own?

Another beautifully written chapter, Duncan. Some of the narrative, in its wording, is almost poetic. I thank you for a tender, even if sometimes painful, story that really gets me involved in the lives of your characters.

I always hope for a happy ending to a story. I don't know if you will allow us that, but even the title How the Light Gets In is more hopeful than its predecessor. At this point, most are still wounded or are being wounded. I see reasons to believe that will change.

Thank you.

I adored Everybody's Wounded and cannot wait for the next installment of How the Light Gets In. I love the character of Josh. All your characters are written very well, but there's something very raw and real about his sweet, quiet strength and naked vulnerability that just tugs at my heart. Bravo, and keep writing.

Best regards,

Dandy

I am really loving the pacing with this story. I'm glad that Matt and Luc are taking it slowly and learning to trust one another, rather than just jumping in the sack. And as much as I loved Scott and Joshua in EW, I think Matt is quickly becoming my favorite character. I love his bravado--how he tries to hide his sensitivity and pain. Can't wait for the next installment--and thank you Duncan for pointing me this direction, this is a great forum.

Not to seem like an idiot or anything but, it's going on ONE year since the last post of this story. Is this story really going to get finished ? After this story now I don't like investiing time in new authors if there isn't a finished product. This story is the 2nd time i read a story and it got so far and then just stopped abruptly with no notice at all saying whether or not it was going to finish. I would be more understanding if there was a reason given for the ONE year delay, but since there's no reason then I just will keep the other comments what I was going to say.
