Toast Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I go to a barber shop. A good barber is hard to fine.
KJames Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Salon here for both of us...barbers just don't work well with my hair...
TetRefine Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Salon. Same lady has been cutting my hair for 9 years and knows exactly how I want it.
Daisy Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Have to say .... hairdresser. Or yes, your salon. Definitely not the barber.
MikeL Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 i cut my hair with my mind You must have a wicked haircut!
MikeL Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I go to a barber shop. A good barber is hard to fine. I go to a hairstyling salon. A good barber is hard to find.
Camilo Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 You must have a wicked haircut! Oh dude, WIIIIIICKEEEEEEEEEEED !!!! Hehe, and my mom cuts my hair, she worked in a salon way way back in the day so she knows what she is doing.
Eddy Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Mmmmmmmmmm - In the shower with a razor, (non electric)
Tarin Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 My stylist's name is Cherish. I love her, I just tell her to have fun every time I sit down and I always look great leaving. So, salon. I used to do a barber, but I never looked cute, just okay.
Tiger Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 It depends. Sometimes I prefer a salon, but if I'm having my head shaved, I go to a barber. No, I don't shave it myself. I'd f**k up even that. I guess not everyone can be a stylist. I would be a lousy one to say the least.
Maddy Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Salon. My uncle does the buzz cut when I'm in the mood for it.
Jack Frost Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Salon. The girl there knows exactly what I want.
Benji Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Salon. The girl there knows exactly what I want. ................Salon, actually I think barber shops are outdated, can't even find one in the area.
KJames Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 i cut my hair with my mind I thought you cut it with your tongue!
thatboyChase Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I thought you cut it with your tongue! that's the other place
Aeroplane Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Salon. The girl there knows exactly what I want. Dont want to speculate about the sort of salon you go to!
Daisy Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 ................Salon, actually I think barber shops are outdated, can't even find one in the area. There's plenty of barbers round by me . My granddad likes to laugh at how he gets his (almost non-existent) hair done for a fiver while I pay Way more than that at hairdressers.
Arpeggio Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Neither, I hate haircuts and avoid them ;-;
rknapp Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 After about six months I head to whoever's open when I go out and get it cut. I don't get a haircut for style, rather to get it the f- out of my eyes. It's about that time...
Jack Frost Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Dont want to speculate about the sort of salon you go to! Please do so.
David McLeod Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 i cut my hair with my mind You must have a wicked haircut! Again, late to the party and the best replies have been taken. Nice one, MikeL! Now, to the question: salon. Two reasons. It's cost effective: a $28 styled haircut lasts about six weeks. At one of the barber shops (or chain "clip and snip" places), a $15 haircut lasts about two weeks. Second: My stylist shampoos my hair after cutting so I'm not walking around the rest of the day shedding tiny hairs or itching. I wish I could add something humorous to this forum. Where is that Muse?
Dark Princess Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 The Salon! I used to go to the barber and my hair was disgusting! I go to a proper salon cause I learned from experience if you pay less than R280 for a haircut it will look like crap
