She is trying to destroy him as far as I can see. He still loves Corey very much. *sigh* Christian bigots make me want to scream. I'm sure others feel the same way.

On the other hand, Micah and John seem to be getting a little closer than before. It'll be interesting to see if he can survive the less than two years with his mother. Providing something doesn't come long between now and then to get him back to Georgia. There are other things at stake here.

"Goon" is one of them, which remembers me of some best parts on the DO saga. It seems that DK prefer to write on "waiting for the sign". Its his decision and I wont interfere . But please Dan, dont forget Micah and dont let him too long in his unpleasant situation

Can we have her die (I know the chance of that happening are .001%)? It's been what 3 chapters total where Micah has interacted with his mother and I am ready to throw in my towel. I don't how you wrote all of it. On the other hand his interactions with John make it bearable. But seriously haven't these people not heard of not punishing the son for his father's mistakes? I mean I get it. Micah's father hurt a lot people including his mother and step-father, but come on please give him a chance. Rant over!!!!! When I went through the editing on this story, I really wanted to obliterate her completely, but trust me when I say that DK is a master storyteller, so stick with it - it is well worth reading!!!

Would it be ok if I wish that something really vile and nasty happens to her though? I like, respect and trust DK's story-telling ability - some if his stories have hit me so hard I lose my breath. But, I still would like to see her suffer, and long before Micah turns 18 and he walks out for good.
