Help find a story ...

As have others, I read a story, don't remember names or the title or where it was, just wish I could find it again!

 

Elements involved:

 

rich, cultured guy meets poorer, less-cultured guy

 

rich guy lives away from the very wealthy family mansion, to which he returns for a monthly (?) meeting, like a board meeting, dealing with something like charitable donations and involvement

 

rich guy gradually falls for poorer guy, wines and dines him and they go to concerts in Chicago (?)

 

poorer guy is eventually taken home, where, I think, rich mother loves him to bits, they go horse-riding and finally live happily ever after.

 

I know, there are masses of 'rich guy meets poor guy' stories ...

Do you know if it's a 'free' story or a published one?

Yes, thought it would be a little vague. Trouble is, I found it via a link from a link. Would love to find it again, it was very good story. I can think of two or three more found like that and have no idea what they were called or who wrote them. Nowadays I keep a good-stories file ...
