C James Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 But but but.... I never use cliffhangers!! All my stories are utterly and entirely cliffhanger free. Even MikeL, our resident frog, has amphibiously certified them cliffhanger-free!!! I'm being slandered! Unfairly accused! Wrongfully maligned! Also, as Talonrider will attest, only chapters posted in 2011 can count for the 2011 awards, so therefor, even if the unthinkable happened and I were to post a chapter tomorrow with a cliffy in it (which I would never do!) it would not count.

Yes, but every chapter that you posted in 2011 does qualify as a cliffhanger
Lugh Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 current chapters are not eligible for consideration.... do not let this behavior influence your vote.
Daddydavek Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 CJ is certainly one of the outstanding nominees for King or Queen of the Cliff hangers. So if you haven't voted, please go to the lounge and get the list of nominees for all categores from Talonrider's post and then PM Talonrider with your vote in each one. Remember, you can only vote for one in each category. CJAMES is my recommendation for King of the Cliff Hangers for his repeated abuse of the literay device in just about every chapter he posted in 2011....

Lugh, I think you are trying to confuse the good readers of CJ's story. You are 100% correct, this years chapters do not count towards the voting. Fortunately the 48 odd chapters that he posted in 2010 do qualify and since he had at least 79 cliffhangers in those chapters, he is more then deserving of the award again this year. I will say, if you do happen to feel sorry for CJ (insert a ROFLMAO smiley in here) you do have the option to choose Lugh, another cliffhanger specialist in his own right
