Bill W Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Bugeye's anthology story, A Valentine in November caused a few painful memories from my youth to resurface. Coming from a poor family and growing up on a small farm, I didn't exactly fit in with the kids from town. I grew up in a time when you made your Valentine's box and I made sure I had a card for everyone, but often my box would be empty or nearly empty. Sometimes the only card in it was the one from the Teacher. I also remember one of the kids in my class having a weekend birthday party and only a couple of us weren't invited. Those things hurt, but it does get better. Maybe not great, but it does get better.
colinian Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Very cool. Shows people can become successful if they believe that things will get better. Colin
comicfan Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 So Disney found a way to use their other message of 'Moving forward'. Nicely done.
