I am in pain waiting almost a month for the last chapter before the epilog. Did the goat eat the manuscript? :)

I totally agree with MikeTx8.  This is so wrong.  I forget WTF this story is about.  Something about a storm........

Just a quick note to say that the final chapter is now in first-round beta. Yep, I actually got it done and mailed out.

No splits, it's the final. It just seemed to work better that way (all in one).

It's a lot large then Doomsday; it's the size of four large chapters. (that's one of the reason I took so long; this many words is about a month's worth at normal posting rates).

Right now, I urgently need to sleep. I'll come back to the forum in a few hours; I have a lot of catching up to do (I've been spending every spare minute on the chapter lately)

In my opinion this needs a choirboy singer, and a gentle pipe organ

Guten Abend, gute Nacht, Mit Rosen bedacht,
Mit Naeglein besteckt, schlupf unter die Deck'
Morgen frueh, wenn Gott will, wirst du wieder geweckt
Morgen frueh, wenn Gott will, wirst du wieder geweckt

Guten Abend, gute Nacht, Von Englein bewacht
Die zeigen im Traum, dir Christkindleins Baum
Schlaf nun selig und suess, Schau im Traum's Paradies
Schlaf nun selig und suess, Schau im Traum's Paradies

Original words to Johannes Brahms's "Wiegenlied" or known in English as his lullaby.
