sandrewn Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) I was looking up info on lux-_apollos' latest gallery picture. I came across a fascinating photo of something completely different but just as interesting. Images of Water Droplets. We are good, but Mother Nature just can't be beat. The expertise lays in the ability of the photographer to capture the moment. Seeing is believing, click on the page below. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2253771/The-stunning-images-water-droplets-rain-work-art.html (in awe of) Sandrewn Edited July 22, 2016 by sandrewn 3

Congratulations! You guys are playing host to some of the funniest and kindest people I know! The good Church Goers will hate them to death, but that's only because they will never look to see the good they do. They've raised tons of money here in San Diego for everything from AIDS research to Animal Protection. I LOVE MY SISES! Edited July 28, 2016 by MrM 1

glitteryantlers Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Aw, I missed Lefties Day? D= I broke my left arm once and writing was a terrible experience that 8 weeks. Once I worked in a hospital and had to open all the canned foods alone, because all the other nurses were left handed. I could not believe, that noone ever brought a left handed can opener. Later I bought one as a good buy gift :-) Come to think of it, I had little luck in medical school, I was the only one with blue eyes in our group at ophtalmology, I was the lucky one to get checked with scopes all the time. (It's easier to see, what you have to see on people with lighter eye color.)

glitteryantlers Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I don't intend it to be political, i hope it does not have to be moved to the pit: For a few heady days in the autumn of 1956, Hungarians rose up and retook the streets from their Soviet hegemon. Soviet troops eventually reentered Budapest and crushed the uprising. But despite their eventual defeat, the Hungarian rebels of 1956 inflicted what would come to be known as "the first tear" in the Iron Curtain. Today, the exact locations of many of the most iconic photographs of the uprising can be determined, revealing that while politics have changed, the historic streets of Budapest remain remarkably similar. http://www.rferl.org/a/budapest-60-years-after-uprising/28067263.html
