Hey all. Had a long week.  Annual state inspection was this week, so I worked about 50 hours in 4 days.  So exhausting.  The survey went well though and while there were some minor infractions, nothing major or about direct care. I took off yesterday and unfortunately spent big bucks on my car, sway bar links and shocks. She sure does handle better now though :)

Its rainy and cold (about 43F) here.  How's the weather where you are?

Hey Starry it’s good to see you.

It’s snowing and kinda mild outside. I was out there shovelling the front walk, and  the path to the gate/back door. Oh, and digging out my mom’s car. We’ve had about 5-6 inches so far...

28F  zero visibility, blowing snow. It's been 7 hours so far.

You stayed inside where it’s warm and dry, I trust? As for me, I decided some shoveling was in order before the rain (avoid my area please) decides to show up.

Just got back from a few days of vacation in the hospital, from Wednesday night to this morning. Asthma turned sever respiratory infection, and they wanted me to stay for a couple of days. So, I am home now and just chilling with orders to take it easy for the next couple of weeks. Had a dead phone, and no laptop.

Glad to hear the worst is over and you’re back home, A.

some poetry in motion for those who may be interested.  People think these animals are forced to do this, but nothing is farther from the truth. This one.. well if you watch it all you'll see it for yourself.

Very impressive. His stable name is Blueberry - that’s adorable. :D

Molly, congrats on a party well done!

A, take it easy and feel better.

Tim, i never had the pleasure of seeing Valegro compete in person but have seen him via the magic of television. He is a once in a lifetime horse who loves what he does. Anyone can see that watching him. You called it poetry in motion. I agree, and often call dressage dancing on horseback. Those two are the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers of the dressage world.
