Yum! And tea is obviously necessary.

...I didn't have tea this morning! That's why I feel so tired! Be right back, must make tea.

Well, some good news with school.

They have a winter break from Dec. 24th - Jan. 7. So, two weeks without class!

I'll be furiously writing during those two weeks.

UGH .. i am very undecided about my own avatar pic ... and whether i should go and make fresh muffins for breakfast.

I liked your Zen pic with the rocks, if votes are being taken.  And now I'm going to go make a zucchini-huckleberry pancake for breakfast.  🙂

Does A. need a red collar too?

The only time I did anything with collars, it was purple... red isn't my color.

Halloween Party and the theme was an animal night. I went as a dalmatian.

So you've never had zucchini bread?

Nope. I've had Potatoe Bread before, but never zucchini. If it counts, gingerbread and carrot cake too.

Zucchini, pumpkin, etc,  all things farmers would have an over abundance of.  What to do with it?   They couldn't store but they could cook with it.  So put it into bread and muffins.  Zucchini takes on flavour well and doesnt add much.  It's also a good way to get kids to eat it.

I did not know that. I think I need to look into it more. Though, getting anything like that past anyone here is like pulling teeth.

Add zucchini grated finely to chocolate cake ... they won't see it and they'll eat it.

I've done black beans in a chocolate cake before.

Oh, add that to the list of different veggie breads.

The grated zucchini adds a delicate flavor that doesn't detract from the rest.

Michael is a diabetic. He loves pasta. Of course, He shouldn't eat too much of it. So we bought a spiralizer. A bit of regular hi-fibre pasta and a whole lot of zuchinni noodles whizzed up in the spiralizer. I dump them in with the regular ones in the last few minutes of cooking and ta-da!! diabetic friendly pasta.

I love zuchinni coins.. slices baked in the oven with parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper. Very yummy.

“Today looks like a great day for laundry!” Said no one willingly...ever!

Yet, here I am, knee deep, and the girls are coming to decorate cookies.

Sometimes, I think I’m asleep when I make these plans.

Anyway, I’ll be bouncing in and out.
