It took me years to tell my mother that I was gay, and she already knew.

I ended up talking to my uncle earlier about this. I forget how it came up, I mentioned mom already knew. His response, "We all knew. If someone didn't they expected it. You were flaming back then." LOL

At my mum’s now. We’re cooking. Salmon baked in puff pastry, Finnish herring salad (beets, potato, carrots, gherkin, apple, parsley; might sound weird if you’re not used to it, but it’s soooo yummy). And prune tarts for dessert.

I was gonna talk to mum about the whole transmasc thing today... it’s time we talk about it, but I feel like I’m about to chicken out. Scared of what she’ll say, if she’ll be indifferent or reject it. It’ll hurt so much if she does. We’re not talking disowning or anything, but like she’ll just pretend it’s not a thing. Just like she has when I’ve mentioned being non-binary. I’m afraid.

I hope it goes well.  I was worried about the same thing when I came out as bi to my mom.  That she would act okay about it and then try to ignore it.  Good luck!  🤞

When I came out as bi my mum was all, “So? So am I. I think everyone is.” This is different, though. This is a side of queer she’ll have a harder time understanding and accepting.

Going to bed now, you guys. I'm exhausted, physically and emotionally. See you all tomorrow! Figuratively speaking.

So... I "found" a copy of Skyrim - Legendary Edition, with the 1.9 patch and all DLC. As long as I play on the laptop, I don't get sick. AWESOME!!!

I'll see everyone tomorrow. Need to get some stuff done, before I head to bed.

Morning DiC.

I'll most likely won't be around for a couple of days. Just a heads-up, I don't want to worry anyone.

University-related stuff. Not really that busy, but this material while interesting is taking a lot of brainpower.

People can still send me stuff to Beta Read. As I will need distraction breaks.

I’ve been figuratively sandbagged any number of times. It’s an apt verb. Thanks for posting these...

i hope that some of them may stick in the mush known as my brain ... :D

Morning everyone. About to head out, need to go by the library at school and pick up a book for my exam. Quick errand, so I didn't bother with my binder when I got dressed, but having worn it all week when going out, it feels weird to leave the house without it...

So ... we got this for Christmas... a waxed Amaryllis bulb. Paper said... no water needed, it has everything it needs to grow. It is a plant... yet i find this rather creepy and obscene. To me it is just a small example of man's need to beat the earth into submission at any cost. I think about what is going on under the red wax ... it can't be good.

Wow, that seems pretty absurd.
