Spent two days checking out new flooring for the basement, because my son wants to redo it. He's decided not to move to Ottawa, and I think he's planning on living at home (with his girlfriend) for the long term while he saves for a house.  . The flooring we decided on isn't what I would have picked, but we found a gray laminate he LOVES, so I folded.   I never go downstairs, so as long as he's happy....
