Val's herd management style does not allow for free-range. She subscribes to the feedlot as the best way to finish her beefcake. Those of us with a more enlightened approach believe the quality of meat on stock allowed to roam is better.

*siiiigh*  That new Mortal Engines movie looks interesting, but I don't have high hopes for it. The books were very good, but judging from the previews, Hollywood has drastically whitewashed the lead female's facial scarring.
