My nephew and I cook something for the family each year. It started out simple when he was small and we have gotten more adventurous as he has gotten older. He sent a text asking to do paella this year. Should be fun

Well the Xmas party when off very nice all had a good time

I am so miserable today. I haven't showered since Thursday morning, and I can't until after I return the Holter monitor tomorrow. All I can do is wash my hair and wipe some bits.   Oh, and I had to go out last evening in an ice storm and climb on a ladder all by myself to cut some tree branches the ice had weighted down in front of my satellite dish. I was terrified, because I needed both hands to work the pruners...  ... I know what you're thinking, but there was a Leaf game on and I needed reception....

That's great, buddy.  I was invited to a casual Christmas party in Toronto on Friday, and would have stayed over, but I wouldn't go wearing a monitor, so I opted out.

I scare me too, Albert, but I was as cautious as I could be. There were higher branches I wanted to cut, but I didn't because I would have had to step up higher... in the past, I would have.
