The next three days are to be particularly chilly for this time of year. Highs in the low 40's/4-5°. There is some excitement building as there is the possibility of snow slightly north and west of us tomorrow night. It shan't last as the ground is far too warm. Another lovely gift from the Canadians. Thanks bro. You're welcome. Getting cold again here. Am going to bring my mare in overnight... might keep her in for two days. Hey, bro. 2 2 1

Popular Post Headstall Posted February 19, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Just got back from a walk in the woods with Cookie... lots of wolf tracks! I can see where they dug through the snow, bringing up leaf debris... probably after moles or mice. Also lots of rabbit and squirrel tracks, and fox as well. Looks like something got a bunny... lots of tracks in one spot and there were no more bunny tracks leading away. Some of the wolf tracks were in a corner of the paddock, and not more than sixty feet from my barn. Edited February 19, 2020 by Headstall 1 7

I'm not really worried... she would be awfully tough to take down, and there are lots of rabbits and squirrels around, so there's plenty of food. Still I'm going to pay closer attention to the tracks. 5 1
