I went shopping late morning/early afternoon. Then sandpapered drawers from a chest of drawers from my grandparents' I want to restore/repaint. Then we went to look for a washing machine for my brother as he's "tired to feel like a college student who has to come to their parents' every weeks for his laundry"

Good morning!  I got up early and went grocery shopping, then had to go to two hardware stores to find what I need for the new sump pump jury-rig.  I made chili in the crockpot overnight and OMG it smelled sooooooo goooooood all night.  Now I'm going to roast some butternut squash to make some soup.  The crockpot is getting a good workout lately lol I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm exhausted already and I still have a lot to do today before my friend arrives.  She may just have to live with an unmopped kitchen floor lol  

The important thing is spending time together ... just don't let her eat off the floor.
