It's currently 74/23°. After we went to brunch this morning I tool mum and Thistle into Myrtle Beach to walk along the boardwalk. There is a section that is non-commercial that passes between the high-rise hotels and the beach. It tends to have very little foot traffic as it is only about 6 feet wide and serves as a connector from the hotels to the downtown area. We had a nice stroll and got to see the ocean. Normally we would go to the nearby state park and walk on the beach but the feathering on Thistle's paws and legs has gotten long and brushing the loose sand out of his fur is a chore. He has an appointment to be groomed at the end of March, the groomer is well regarded and is booked solid until then, for his usual spring time trim. I have the fur on his feet clipped short like is done for poodles. Makes beach walking much less messy.

Then barely 20 minutes later we reached 81/27°. Feels like summer.

Sounds like a nice day. Cookie has long foot feathers too... they do a great job of protecting her pads from the snow and ice.

We're having another warm sunny day, unfortunately it has also become rather humid. As a result my head aches ... badly.

 Big drop in temperature here to go with a severe wind warning this afternoon. I'm bringing me mare back in at two this afternoon. That's when the winds are supposed to start.

I just got a notice for potential wind gusts back home in PA. Here we're expecting a front to pass later bringing a change to cooler slightly wet weather. This is the seventh day in a row of sunshine.

Past few days have been mild (for Ireland), dry, and sunny. Great weather for garden work.

After being a wee bit naughty this morning, and popping just over the border into Northern Ireland to post a birthday card to a grand-niece in England who will be 3 years old on Saturday (as mail can take forever to get between the Republic of Ireland and England at the moment), I started the bonfire of all the ivy, Russian vine, and branches cut from the boundary hedge when I got back home. I'm slowly gathering branches, etc, from all round the garden to dispose of on it. I reckon I'll have to continue that job tomorrow. But there should be enough heat left in the embers to rekindle the fire.
