raven1 Posted December 24, 2021 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) Hi Bucket, I assume you made it and your trip was OK. I love satay, but the Balinese do make it better than the Thais. It's mainly the Thai peanut sauce that is less flavourful, at least up north where I live. Thai cooking has several regional and even local variations on almost all recipes. Well, the reason I took the photo is because the lad looked familiar, but I couldn't place where I'd seen him before. Tonight, it dawned on me: his name is Gavin Casalegno.
