No it just makes you hardcore.  I'm reminded of the restaurant I ate at in Cozumel on my first trip to the Caribbean, when I was just 9-years-old.  It was definitely a tourist trap of a place, and every table had a bottle of tequila on it.  Each bottle had a tag (written in English) that said "Get drunk, be a man."  Even at nine I was like WTF?

Scorpions, like other arthropods, have book lungs that they use to breathe air. If book lungs are completely submerged, the arthropod drowns and therefore dies.
