Still a bit chilly for wearing speedos, air temp 51/10°, water temp 62/16°.

It's 10C here. I had a really enjoyable 4K walk. Sunny the whole time, and there is a creek that is now almost completely free of snow and ice. I could see right to the bottom.

Glad you were able to enjoy a walk in the sunshine. It wasn't that long ago the turtles were out sunning themselves in the unseasonable warmth. Now they're all hiding because it has turned unseasonably cold. Every time I see them I am reminded of you.

I'm okay, clo. Life has its ups and downs, and I have been struggling with one of those down times, but I'm making headway. It's easier for me to keep to myself while I work things out. Cookie is great, but I feel like I'm on a death watch for my mare. She's had her thirtieth birthday, and that is a rarity for horses, especially mares. I swear I check on her thirty/forty/fifty times a day. I don't want her to die in her stall because that would cause problems in getting her out, but I don't want to leave her out except for a few hours a day in the sun. She can't handle the cold like she used to. :hug:
