Hey Everyone! I just published chapter 2 in Blackbirds Singing it will be online in about 4 hours.  It's my attempt at Haiku with poems based on living in the mountains of Oregon, and some about Songkran. 😄

Oh I can tell you specifically the story Gary wrote that, it he had wanted to, could have easily been another book at least.  But, I also just appreciate what I got. I go back and reread it from time to time.

Hiya and good morning, yep I've survived all that today has had to throw at me 😀. I'm feeling a lot calmer and better now, although life is going to be a lot different.

Considering where you live and your lifestyle, I'm sure you will love a trip there.  The really difficult part is deciding what you want to do and see.  There is so much to pick from depending on what you like to do! ❤️

Sorry to keep you waiting Albert.  Songkran is like 5 days of the craziest New Years in a row.  The Thais are very social, so that meant all day and night partying.  I also worked to make sure I would be able to post my new chapter as I had promised.  Then there were the books and poetry in process I am trying to keep up with.  I will be able to start catching up to you now that I have more time to read.  😄

And it still might be one day. I don't control these things... I have to be pretty much certain I'm up to the challenge of a sequel, though, even if my muse says go. That first book took up most of my time and energy for a year and a half, not to mention the time I spent formulating the story before I ever pushed a keyboard key. And all the time and energy I gave gladly to responding to the incredible comments the story received... that was almost another book in itself.  

To my credit, I did write a sequel to Sidewinder... one I think measures up okay.

I know you don't Gary, and if I'm really sorry if I ever make you feel sad or inadequate or anything along those lines whenever I mention a sequel.  That is not remotely my intention.  I know about your challenges, and I've faced them myself as a writer.  I've been trying to motivate myself to get back on that horse, but then the prospect of even writing a short little story can feel like too much. 

I've never mentioned this before, but I'm almost started some fan fiction set in the universe you created, nothing I ever would have published anywhere without asking you first.  But then the time to formulate what I wanted to tell, see if it actually fit in your world and then sit down and work out the plot just became strenuous.  Anyway, I appreciate every story you put out there, and yes your Sidewinder sequel was awesome.
