The old homestead is great, but I have a lot more to keep mowed now that Sky has passed. Bought new hanging baskets for the front of the house, and planted new baskets with mini roses for the back. I have to move the big horse trough planter before I plant tomatoes.  

That sounds like hard work, but worth it. It reminds of something I heard a while back,

Thanks. It was a beautiful spot when I bought it, and now the house and barn and grounds do it justice I think. Works for me anyway.

Guys, anyone using an air fryer? Any thoughts of it? Is it a fashion trend or is it really useful?

I use my air fryer oven often and find it great for roasting meat, mine has a spit to cook most chicken and most meats. It cooks quicker and as it uses less fat or oil it's healthier too. Most air fryers come with a recipe booklet to get you going. You can get recipes and ideas from many websites including social media. I can cook a 1.5kg chicken in about 50 minutes using less than half of the energy it takes to cook it in a conventional oven. Check out some of the videos on YouTube by searching airfryer recipes/cooking.

How interesting on the energy cost! I've saw so many delicious looking recipes on insta which is why I'm interested. Fried melted cheese and many other mouth watering (healthier you said)

I bought my mom one for Christmas about a year ago, she uses it semi-frequently.

Mostly for vegetables she used to roast in the oven, also some meats, especially chicken strips.

She likes it.

So, the general consensus says both a fashion trend and usefulness.

The chef I follow on YT has six recipes so far: potato wedges, onion rings, chicken tenders, chicken wings, French toast, and doughnuts. 

My mom has one, and she's very satisfied with it. 

Am I the only one thinking this offer is too good? 57 % off? Wow! Must be a slow sales season.
