About the only thing missing seems to be snow - but there's time enough for that, it's only just past 12 noon... And the snow was obviously feeling left out. A small amount is falling now. And now, just as it's getting dark, there's an electrical storm.. Donner und blitzen.... (that only means Thunder and lightning - for anyone who doesn't understand German) ⚡ 6

You would have to be classed as a group home to foster five kids all at once. I guess the US has different rules. It's the same in the US, although it may vary by state. 5

He had a problem with drink, which caused more than just a few problems. I can forgive him now, because I now know that alcoholism is an illness... Personally I hardly ever drink alcohol. I think the last drink I had was over the Christmas period. 3 3

Oh, Page uses fried pickle chips as a substitute for french fries or potato chips as a side dish. 6

There is research that says the "ginger gene" MC1R has the highest occurence rate in Ireland (10%), Scotland (6%) and Wales (4%). Norway has the highest percentage in Europe. Supposedly the gene actually first appeared in Central Asia. The Celts originated nearby. 7

Mum and I went out for brunch this morning. Since it was such a nice day we decided we needed to do something outdoors. So we all hopped in the car and made the 30 minute trip to Georgetown, SC. There is a small waterfront walkway along the harbor and a quaint main street. Thistle very much enjoys exploring the waterfront and shops. Spent a bit over an hour strolling about before returning home. Now we're all being lazy and relaxing. It's pollen season here and with the preponderance of pine trees things left out of doors are turning yellow. 6
